Maylene Ellis

Ms. May serves as the Executive Director, Manager, Paralegal, and Assistant to Trial Attorneys Donte Wyatt and Mitch Mehdy, with over two decades of dedicated service. She has worked extensively with DMV Attorney Mr. Ticket, helping to prevent the revocation or suspension of tens of thousands of driver’s licenses. Additionally, Ms. May is certified as an operator and instructor for various Breathalyzer machines, including the Intoxilyzer 8000 and the ECIR 5000 Models I and II. She is also well-versed in administering and reviewing all sobriety tests required by police departments.

Ms. May has attended more than a dozen seminars over a span of 10 years at the National College of DUI Defense, held at Harvard Law School in Boston, Massachusetts. She has also participated in nearly a dozen seminars focused on mastering scientific evidence in DUI cases, specifically toxicology.

Throughout her career, Ms. May has learned from top national defense attorneys and renowned scientists, such as A.W. Jones from Sweden, Alfred Staubus from Columbus, Ohio, and Michael Hlastala from Seattle, Washington. Known for her meticulous attention to detail, professionalism, and excellent communication skills, Ms. May is a creative and highly experienced professional who is affectionately referred to in the office as the “DMV-DUI Mom.”
